Who we are...
Kate Taylor 970-613-4191 Holistic Life Choices Carol and I first met in 1987 while we were working together with a team of volunteers from Colorado State University to produce the 1st (and then the 2nd) International Conference on Paranormal Research. After completing my studies at CSU, in 1991, I opened the Mountain Healing Center, a group of a dozen holistic practitioners, located in Old Town, Fort Collins. Two years later, prompted by a vivid and demanding dream, and with the support of the MHC practitioners, I launched The Healing Path magazine. This community-generated magazine was designed to give people a printed resource about the wonderful array of holistic choices available in our area. I published The Healing Path for 14 years growing from a seasonal publication of 1000 copies, to a bimonthly magazine with over 20,000 copies distributed throughout northeastern Colorado. As part of the magazine's purpose of connecting and empowering our community to make positive, healthy lifestyle choices, I developed and produced the annual City Park Holistic Fairs each summer for ten years. As Carol's Metaphyical Fairs began to grow, we combined our efforts to have The Healing Path magazine sponsor all the fairs and run their space/booth registration on the magazine website. When I finally sold the magazine (to wonderful new owners, see www.healingpath.com), The Healing Path continued to sponsor the Fairs, but I set up the Holistic Life Choices website to continue to run the fair registrations and promote the fairs. The website then grew to include a Calendar and Directory and to offer email advertising for holistic events and resources.	Carol Ostrom 970-472-0200 ext 3 Belu Olisa Fairs Since 1977, I have been a student of metaphysics - a world of intuition, heart connection and wisdom. My passion involves bringing people of all walks of life together for the greater good of all. Over the years, I've done past-life regression work, numerology, tarot, energy balancing and healing work, shadow work, taught dream interpretation groups and individual dream work. My late husband, Joseph Ostrom, is the author of "You and You Aura". We traveled around the US in 1985, lecturing on the aura – what it is, how to see it, working with repairing it after surgery, etc. Joseph was also a guest lecturer at the UFO conference in Laramie, Wyoming. In 1982, I organized the first successful psychic fair in Fort Collins, Colorado with a small group of friends. Over the last 26 years, the Fairs have evolved from "psychic" to "metaphysical" to "holistic" as people's awareness has grown to understand the inter-connections between mind, body, spirit/soul. Or put another way, everything in inter-related, nothing is separate, from microcosm to macrocosm. Collecting canned food for the Food Bank was started in the 90's and it continues today at all the Fairs I do. In 2002, I was guided to start Fairs in cities outside of the northern Colorado region. This includes Exhibitor Registration Services for Holistic & Metaphysical Fairs, Festivals and Events; Ticketing Services for Events; Community Calendar of Events, Workshops and Classes; Announcements and Classified Ads for Holistic Services; Directory of Holistic Resources, Practitioners, Healers, Vendors and Psychic Readers; We welcome postings that are oriented toward spiritual/personal-growth, studying the metaphysical connection and making healthy/holistic choices. We promote the sharing of information bringing us to greater awareness of the connections between Body/Mind/Spirit and connecting us more deeply to each other, our community, our world and ourselves. Our Calendar is designed to support northeastern Colorado, we are also happy to post information outside our area if it is of interest to the northeastern Colorado community.
